Custom pool construction

Every build starts with a site visit and a 3-D rendering, before a shovel moves. Outer Banks ground is sand, so the dig goes 6 to 12 inches past the shell and gets compacted, then #4 rebar and 8 inch shotcrete walls go in under a 12 inch locking beam.

Pool remodeling

Replaster and quartz finishes, from white to midnight blue, with a 5-year warranty on the quartz. Upgrade the heating, filtration and lighting, or add a water feature.

Jeff's techs are full-time employees and Certified Pool Operators. Every visit comes with a service report, and there are no extra charges for extra visits during occupied rental weeks. Service covers Corolla, Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head.

  • Free and combined chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid and phosphates
  • Skim, brush and vacuum; pump strainer and skimmer baskets cleaned

Opening and closing

Opening is a four-day process with alum flocculation, and closing winterizes the pool for the off-season. Winter Watch adds home-watch with emailed photos, at $800 or $125 a month.

A Sta-Rite & Hayward Certified Service Center. Heater repair and replacement, including Hayward H-Series and HeatPro heat pumps, plus spa covers and salt chlorinators. A saltwater conversion is a one-time job under $1,000.
